The public is welcome to participate in public open meetings of the Texas America250 Commission virtually through Zoom or in person at the ​​Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin, Texas. 

As the Texas America250 Commission extends into three or more counties, videoconference meetings are held in accordance with Government Code Section 551.127, with the presiding chair physically present at the open meeting location.

To comply with the Open Meetings Act,  each participant, whether attending in person or via video, must ensure their face is clearly visible and their voice audible while speaking. The meeting location will be equipped with videoconference equipment that provides an audio and video display, as well as a camera and microphone allowing any member of the public present to provide public comment. Members of the public wishing to speak must register a comment card.

The meeting minutes and recordings are available to the public under the Public Information Act.
